Six wagons of oil train derail in Dinajpur

Six wagons of an oil train derailed at Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur district on Friday afternoon. 

The incident happened at around 1:30 pm in Holdibari Rail Gate area on the Parbatipur-Phulbari road in the upazila. 

Abdus Samad, the driver of the train, said that the train, which consists of 28 empty oil wagons, was traveling from Parbatipur to Joydebpur. When the train arrived in the area, six of the wagons derailed from the rail road.

Rofiq Chowdhury, station master of Parbatipur rail station, stated that efforts are ongoing to rescue the wagons.
