At least 300 people, mostly students , have received treatment after suffering injuries during violent clashes involving students, police, and ruling party activists  in the capital's Rampura area on Thursday.

Prosejit Modhu, a nurse of emergency department, said they treated at least 300 people since Thursday morning.

He also said that they are sending some patients to the Mugda General Hospital and Dhaka Medial College and Hospital due to the shortage of the manpower.

Visiting the hospital, a UNB reporter struggled to find any doctor to talk as they all are busy to provide treatment to the patients.

One of the doctors of the hospital said, he is going mad to see the the number of the patients.

As of 5:50pm, the clash is going on in front of Rampura Kitchen Market area.    —UNB
