Three hotels, one pharmacy fined in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR, July 18: A mobile court fined three hotels and one pharmacy Tk 18,000 for preparing foods in an unhygienic environment and keeping date-expired medicines at Hili Bazar in Hakimpur Upazila of the district recently.

Assistant director of the district consumer rights protection department, Momtaz Begum, and Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Layla Yasmin conducted a joint drive in Dinajpur's Hili.

During the drive, the mobile court imposed fines of Tk 5,000 on each of the three hotels and Tk 3,000 on the pharmacy.
