Two more dengue patients die, 112 hospitalized in 24hrs

Two more dengue patients died and 112 people infected with the viral fever  in the country in the last 24 hours till Monday  morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the death toll from the dengue fever rose to 50 while 55 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka and others were admitted to different hospitals outside it.

This year, the total number of cases rose to 4,676.

In the past 24 hours, 111 dengue patients were discharged from different hospitals.

Last year, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases.
