Students block Science Lab

Students of seven college blocked the road in the capital's Science Lab area on Wednesday morning as part of their pre-scheduled programme.

Around 10:30am, two hundreds students brought out a procession from Dhaka College and took position at Science Lab intersection, causing severe traffic congestion in and around the area.

Students staged a sit-in on the road, chanting slogans like "Quota not come back, we want merit-based recruitment, etc...".
The anti-quota protesters said, "We will continue the protest if quota system in the government job will upheld by today's court verdict."

As per Tuesday's announcement of 'Bangla Blockade' across the country, the agitating students have blocked some points in the capital since 9:45am.
