Jatrabari Jhotika Sangsad outplayed Little Friends Club 4-1 in the ongoing Bashundhara Group Senior Division Football League 2023-24 League on Monday at the Shaheed Birshreshtha Sepoy Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka.
Although Jatrabari JS won the match, it was not the winners who netted the first goal there. Anannya Paroi opened the net for Little Friends Club in the 16th minute. But that was all they could do as the opponents soon recovered, levelled, and went ahead scoring one after another. Fayjul Karim levelled the margin for the Jatrabari boys in the 26th minute while Nur Alam Siddik hit the net twice, in the 43rd and 57th minute, to go ahead. Finally, Tanjirul Islam Antu scored the teams fourth goal in the 65th minute.
Sadharon Bima Corporation Sporting Club experienced a 0-1 defeat to Qassabtuly Samaj Kollayan Parishad where Ammar Ibne Amin netted the match-winning goal in the very second minute of the match.
In the other match on the day, Jatrabari Krira Chakra registered a 1-0 win over Bashabo Torun Sangha following a lone goal by Sabuj Mia in the 24th minute of the match.
