Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum (BSRF) on Wednesday organized a Fruit Festival in the Media Center at Bangladesh Secretariat for its members with various local fruits.
Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumdar inaugurated the festival while the Food Secretary Ismiel Hossain and Food Ministrys Additional Secretary Prodip Kumar Das were also present.
BSRF President Fasih Uddin Mahtab presided over the opening ceremony conducted by BSRF General Secretary Masudul Haque.
BSRF members on the occasion of fruit festival and enjoyed the festival lasts from morning till noon.
The fruits of various varieties including mango, jam (black plum), jackfruit, litchi, amra (hog plum), latkon, dragon, and pineapple take place in the festival.
