Police raid suspected militant den in N'ganj

Members of the Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) raided a four-storey building in Narayanganj's Rupganj upazila from Tuesday morning, suspecting it to be a militant hideout.

Mahfuzul Alam Rasel, superintendent (media) of ATU, confirmed this.
ATU members cordoned of the building from 10:30am and started their operation after 1pm. Mohammad Sanwar Hossain, the Anti-Terrorism Unit's police super, is leading the team.

According to the ATU sources, a woman was arrested from Cox's Bazar on Monday (July 1) during a drive. Based on her information, they are conducting a operation in this building.
