Lightning strike kills college student in Magura

A college student was killed being struck by a lightning strike in Magura Sadar Upazila on Sunday afternoon.

According to locals, Tamim Mollah was struck by lightning while returning home with cattle from the field during rain in the afternoon.
Locals rescued him and took to Magura General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

An unnatural death (UD) case was filed at Magura Police Station in this regard, said Mehedi Hasan, officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station.
