Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka has given instructions to open the main gate of the HSC examination center before the scheduled time if there is rain on the days of the examination and to complete the examination by adjusting the time of half an hour or one hour depending on the emergency situation.
This instruction was given in an emergency notification signed by the board examination controller Prof. Abul Bashar on Sunday (June 30), the day of commencement of HSC and equivalent examinations.
It was said that the HSC and equivalent exams have started Sunday. According to the sources of Meteorological Department, there is a prospect of heavy rainfall in the next few days. If there is rain during the examination days, if necessary, the main gate of the center should be opened before the scheduled time and the candidates should be allowed to enter the center.
It was also said that if there is a delay of half an hour or an hour in starting the examination of a center due to unavoidable reasons, it is requested to take necessary measures to complete the examination by adjusting the time of that half hour or one hour considering the emergency situation.
Sylhet board exam not started due to flood. Exams have started in other boards. Sylhet board exam will be suspended till July 8. The examination will be conducted as per the schedule from July 9.
