Former National Board of Revenue (NBR) member Matiur Rahman's first wife Narsingdi's Raipura upazila parishad chairman Laila Kaniz Lucky has appeared in public.

She went her office on Thursday (June 27), after 14 days.
Laila Kaniz Lucky attended two preparatory meetings on the ensuing SSC Examinations and Bangabandhu Goldcup Football Tournament at Narsingdi's Raipura Upazila Parishad office from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday.

However, she didn't want the presence of journalists there. At that time, her workers and supporters were present outside the office. Following the meeting, she came out of the office and hurriedly got on board her car without talking to journalists.

Laila Kaniz Lucky attended her last office three days before Eid-ul-Azha. She is the first wife of revenue official Matiur Rahman. Since the goat scandal, she had not appeared in public. In spite of numerous contacts, she could not be reached.
