34 dengue patients hospitalized in 24hrs

Thirty-four new dengue cases were reported in the country in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the news patients 16 were hospitalised in Dhaka while others were admitted to different hospitals outside it.

This year, the total number of cases rose to 3,419 while 41 deaths from dengue disease were reported during the same period.

Last year, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases.
