Sonargaon Upazila Awami League in Narayanganj district celebrated the 75th founding anniversary of Awami League through colorful arrangements on Sunday.
On the occasion of the day, discussion, flag hoisting, balloon, pigeon flying, flags and colourful procession were held in front of the upazila Awami League office in the morning.
Narayanganj District Awami League President Abdul Hai was present as the chief guest and General Secretary Advocate Abu Hasnat Shaheed Md Badal was the special guest in the function presided over by Engineer Masudur Rahman Masum, Acting President of Sonargaon Upazila Awami League.
Narayanganj-3 MP Abdullah -Al -Kaisar was present as the keynote speaker at the discussion.
Sonargaon Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Ashrafuzzaman, Organizing Secretary Sohag Roni, UP members Arif Masud Babu, Zahid Hasan Jinnah, Lion Mahbubur Rahman Babul, Sonargaon Upazila Jubo League President Rafiqul Islam Nannu, General Secretary Mohammad Ali Haider also spoke at the meeting.
Chairmen of various UPs of the upazila, leaders of Awami League and its allied organizations and upazila freedom fighters were present on this occasion at that time.
