Cricket coach Zafrul Ehsan dies

Veteran cricket coach Zafrul Ehsan passed away early Tuesday.

He was 60 years.  
He had been suffering from blood cancer for one-and-a-half years..

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed mourning in a statement.  

Zafrul joined the staff of BCB in 2006. He served as the head coach and batting of Men's High Performance Team during 2015-2022.

Zafrul also served as the head coach of women's team during 2007-2008, men's under-19 team during 2010-2013, and the batting coach of men's A team.


He was part of the coaching staff in domestic tournaments like the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) and National Cricket League (NCL).
