Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has announced that the sacrificial animal waste will be removed from the city streets within 24 hours.

The mayor said that the removal of cattle market waste will also start the night before Eid.
Taposh said they have prepared a separate action plan for the removal of waste after markets close and sacrifices are offered.
In this regard, DSCC has engaged separate manpower, separate officers and separate vehicles for the markets.
Besides, they have added 25 dump trucks of 10-ton capacity and 10 payloaders to the fleet with their own funding for waste removal. 15 more dump trucks are being added. So, DSCC fleet of vehicles and machinery is now very rich.
The DSCC Mayor also expressed his hope that they will be able to provide service more smoothly than last time and provide the benefits to the people of Dhaka.
