2 upazilas in Bhola get 2 new chairmen

The remained third phase of the sixth upazila parishad elections was held in two upazilas in Bhola on Sunday.

Among these upazilas, Akhtaruzzaman Titob has been elected as chairman of Lalmohan upazila with 25,339 votes, while his nearest rival candidate Aktar Hossain secured 24,567 votes.

Meanwhile, in Tazumuddin upazila, Fazlul Haque Douan has been elected as he secured 24,231 votes, whereas his nearest candidate Mosahrraf Hossain Dulal bagged 21, 517 votes.

Md Alagir Hossain, additional district magistrate and returning officer, provided this information on Sunday night.
