Jatiya Party Chairman and also the leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader on Sunday congratulated Narendra Modi for being elected Prime Minister of India for the third time.
In a congratulatory message on June 9, GM Quader wished Modi success and health.
After independent Indias first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Narendra Modi has been elected Prime Minister in India for third terms, read the message, issued by GM Quaders Press Secretary Khandaker Delwar Jalali.
He said under the strong leadership of Modi, India has created a strong position in the world politics.
"India and Bangladesh are two tested friends," GM Quader said, adding, "I hope the relationship between the countries will be stronger in the future under the leadership of Modi."
