Chief coordinator of KNF women's wing arrested in Bandarban

The chief coordinator of thewomen's wing of Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) was arrested from Bandarban Sadar upazila on Friday.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Akim Bom, the military trained chief coordinator of women's wing in Bandarban Sadar and Rowangchari zone, on early Friday.
Confirming the matter, RAB-15 Squadran Leader Tawhid said acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at Laimipara area in the upazila and arrested her.

'The details of the drive will be briefed in a press conference scheduled to be held at Bandarban District Council auditorium at 5:30 pm," he added.
