CMP Inter-Divisional T-10 Cricket Tournament begins

CHATTOGRAM, May 15: Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Inter-Department T-10 Cricket Tournament inaugurated by Commissioner of Police (Additional IGP) Krishna Pada Roy on Wednesday at Dampara Police Lines SAF ground.

In opening speech, CMP Commissioner Said "Police work is always tiring.  Amidst these tiring duties, we organize cultural events and sports as a means of entertainment for the policemen.  This tournament is organized as a part of that.  We believe sports make us physically and mentally strong."

A total of 16 teams are participating in the CMP Inter-Divisional T-10 Cricket Tournament divided into four groups.

There will be 24 matches in the group stage, 4 in the quarter finals, 2 in the semifinals and a total of 31 matches including the final. The final match will be held on May 26.
