Party office will be established in each union of Daudkandi: MP Sabur

Cumilla-1 (Daudkandi-Titas) Constituency MP Eng. Abdus Sabur emphasized on setting up Awami League's own party office in 15 unions and one municipality of Daudkandi Upazila in Cumilla.

He said, the local Awami League will be given all kinds of support to set up their own office.

He said this in the speech of the chief guest at the extended meeting of Daudkandi Upazila Awami League from Monday (April 29) afternoon to around 8:30 pm.

Bangladesh Awami League Science and Technology Affairs Secretary Eng. Abdus Sabur also said that it is necessary for the party to have an office in every union. In the meantime, Engineer Sabur expressed his gratitude to the several Union Awami League leaders and UP Chairmen who have announced to donate space for the party offices.

He said, ''People's Leader Sheikh Hasina has established Digital Bangladesh. The opportunity to communicate with the entire country has been created through online. In this regard, Daudkandi Upazila Awami League will not be left behind. We want to make Daudkandi Awami League smart through institutional methods. That is why the cooperation of all the party leaders and workers is necessary.''

Daudkandi Upazila Awami League President Advocate Ahsan Habib Chowdhury chaired and General Secretary Eng Mohiuddin Shikder moderated the programme where Cumilla District (North) Awami League Vice President Bashirul Alam Miyaji, Joint General Secretary Basudeb Ghosh, Swecchasebak League central Vice-President Saleh Mohammad Tutul, Upazila Parishad Chairman Major (Retd) Mohammad Ali Sumon, Daudkandi Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Mohammad Shahjalal, Organizing Secretary Aslam Miyaji and various union Awami League presidents, general secretaries and local UP chairmen spoke at the programme.
