52 Kuki-Chin members sent to jail over Bandarban bank robbery

A Bandarban court on Tuesday (April 9) sent 52 arrested Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) personnel to jail in a case filed over the incident of bank robbery and arms looting at Ruma upazila in Bandarban.

Senior Judicial Magistrate of Bandarban Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Mohammad Nazmul Hossain passed the order.

Earlier, they were produced before the court from Bandarban Sadar Police Station by three separate buses amid stringent security measures.

Police Inspector AK Fazlul Haque confirmed it.
