Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor, Professor ASM Maksud Kamal, on Friday urged admission seekers and their guardians not to be swayed by rumors of question leaks before the universitys undergraduate entry tests.

"Question leak rumors surface every year," Professor Kamal stated. "Their primary purpose is to deceive parents and students and extort money from them. These individuals often disappear after collecting an initial payment. We have issued warnings to everyone to avoid falling victim to this scam."

The Vice-Chancellor made these remarks during a press briefing at the universitys Social Sciences Faculty, following his visit to exam halls where the Arts, Law, and Social Sciences unit test was held.

"We are in constant communication with law enforcement agencies," Professor Kamal said in response to journalists inquiries about a recent question leak rumor. "So far, we haven received any reports of cheating. We have implemented robust question security measures and remain highly vigilant."

He confirmed that the examination proceeded peacefully.

Professor Kamal emphasized that decentralizing exam centers across eight divisional cities has lessened the burden on admission seekers.

The Arts, Law, and Social Sciences unit test started at 11:00 AM and concluded at 12:30 PM.

A total of 1,12,278 admission seekers competed for 2,934 seats in this unit.

The Business Studies unit test will be held today (February 24th), while the Science unit and Fine Arts unit tests are scheduled for March 1st and March 9th, respectively.
