BHOLA: A total of 2,000 cold-affected people living in Lalmohan Upazila of the district have been given blankets from the Prime Ministers Relief and Welfare Fund.
Lalmohan Upazila administration organized the distribution programme on Badarpur Union Parishad (UP) premises recently.
Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shawon, MP, from Bhola-3 constituency, handed over the warm clothes to the cold-hit people at the programme as the chief guest.
Lalmohan Upazila Parishad Chairman Principal Gias Uddin Ahmed, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Touhidul Islam, Upazila Awami League (AL) General Secretary (GS) Fakhrul Alam Hawlader and UP Chairman Asadullah Melkar, among others, were also present during the distribution.

State Minister for Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Muhibur Rahman Muhib, MP, handed over these warm clothes to the needy families on Kalapara Municipality premises and Bangabandhu Colony recently.
