Shark Tank Bangladesh, the countrys premier platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their innovative businesses, has officially announced the final deadline for application review for its first season.
Entrepreneurs and innovators are encouraged to submit their applications by January 30 next, for a chance to dive into the tank and secure investment opportunities, says a press release.
The business team at Shark Tank has started reviewing the applications that were submitted earlier, based on who applied first. Several teams have already been shortlisted, and the grooming process has begun.
Anyone who is a business owner, a founder, or has an innovative product or idea is eligible to apply. The show gives Bangladeshi entrepreneurs a chance to pitch to Sharks (investors) and pursue their dreams by potentially getting a deal from a Shark. The Sharks have to decide whether or not they want to invest in the business.
For example, in case of a non-resident Bangladeshi or a foreign individual, he/she can also come to Dhaka and pitch as long as their business or idea caters to the Bangladesh market.
This provides new access to the next breed of entrepreneurs to not only raise capital but also get exposure to millions of viewers who are anticipating to watch the Bangladesh version of Shark Tank.
The business-themed reality show will surely change the lives of Bangladeshi entrepreneurs looking for that breakthrough moment.
