National winter sports competition held in Patuakhali

The 52nd national winter sports competition was held on Monday in Patuakhali's Bauphal upazila.

Bauphal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Bashir Gazi was present and handed over the prizes among the winners on the last day of the two-day long competition organized on Bauphal Govt Model Secondary School ground.

Among others, Bauphal Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Maryam Begum Nishu, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Prateek Kumar Kunda, Secondary Education Officer Nazmul Haque, Bauphal Police OC Shonit Kumar Gain, Convener of Sports Competition Management Committee Karpoorkathi Islamia Secondary School Head Teacher Tushar Kanti Ghosh and Member Secretary Nazirpur Ibrahim Salim Smriti Mahila Dakhil Madrasah Physical Education Teacher Harun Or Rashid Khan were present, among others.

Competitors from 114 educational institutions participated in a total of 49 events in the sports competition.
