Seminar on 'Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah in the service of God's love and humanity' held

Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.) dedicated himself not solely to the promotion of education and reform, but also to the advancement of human welfare and development.

Born in the latter part of the 19th century, Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.) served as a guiding force for the well-being of humanity. The presenters at a seminar themed 'Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.) in the service of God’s love and humanity' conveyed their remarks on Sunday.

This event is part of a month-long program commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.), organized at the Imam Training Academy room of Islamic Foundation in Agargaon, the capital city. The initiative is led by Dhaka Ahsania Mission Health Sector.

Dr. Md. Bashirul Alam, Director General (Additional Secretary) of Islamic Foundation, graced the seminar as a guest. Expressing his gratitude, he mentioned that he had the chance to work on Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah on a smaller scale, where he gained profound insights into the remarkable individual. Dr. Alam emphasized that Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah was a true lover of humanity, dedicated to both worshiping God and serving creation.

The seminar was chaired by Vice President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Professor Dr. Abu Tayyab Abu Ahmed. Distinguished speakers included Professor Dr. M. Shamser Ali, a renowned academician and scientist, Associate Professor Dr. Father Tapan de Rosario, former chairman of Dhaka University's Department of World Religions and Culture; M. Ehsanur Rahman, a member of the executive committee of Dhaka Ahsania Mission and former executive director etc.

The seminar was conducted by Iqbal Masud, the Director of the Health and Wash Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
The speakers also emphasized that the writings and actions of Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.) clearly reflected his dedication to practicing genuine love for creation. The sole commitment of Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah's life was to please the beloved, establishing a profound link between religion and action. The speakers also highlighted that Islam cannot truly thrive in a society lacking economic, social, or judicial justice. They emphasized that mosques offer an opportunity to serve various societal needs for the greater welfare of the community.
