Moving covered van set on fire in Gazipur

Miscreants set fire to a moving covered van in Jhajar area under Gachha police station in Gazipur city on Tuesday morning.

Gazipur Chowrasta Modern Fire Station Senior Station Officer Ruhul Amin Molla said after receiving a call from 999 number, one of our units went to the scene but before reaching there, the fire was brought under control.
Gachha Police Station officer-in-charge Shah Alam said the covered van was going to Cumilla from Mymensingh's Bhaluka. Miscreants set it on fire early in the morning. The police were sent to the spot after being informed.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
