Kazi Zafar Ullah made AL's election conducting body co-chair

The ruling Awami League (AL) has made the party's presidium member Kazi Zafar Ullah as co-chairman of its election conducting committee constituted for the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election.

Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, also chief of the election conducting committee, made the announcement while chairing the first meeting of the committee at the party's Dhaka District Office at Tejgaon in Dhaka on Friday afternoon, reports BSS.

On November 9, the committee was formed in a meeting of the Awami League Central Working Committee.

AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was made chief of the committee while party's general secretary as member secretary.
