Bangabandhu, Bangamata Football Tournament inaugurated in Gaibandha

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament Boys U-17 and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib National Gold Cup Football Tournament were inaugurated in Gaibandha district on Monday.

Gaibandha District Administration and Sports Association jointly organized the tournament at Shah Abdul Hamid Stadium in the town.

Gaibandha deputy commissioner Kazi Nahid Rasul inaugurated the event as the chief guest presided over by the additional deputy commissioner Abdul Awal.

At that time, Gaibandha police super Kamal Hossain, Gaibandha Sadar Upazila Parishad chairman Shah Sarwar Kabir spoke on the occasion, among others.

A total of 16 teams from Gaibandha Sadar, Sadullapur, Phulchhari, Palashbari, Saghata, Sundarganj, Gobindganj upazilas and Gaibandha municipality are participating in the tournament.
