Fire at Sena Kalyan Bhaban in Motijheel under control

A fire that broke out at Sena Kalyan Bhaban in Motijheel of the capital on Monday night has been brought under control within 45 minutes.

Anwarul Islam Dolon, media official of Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the matter.

He said the fire was brought under control around 9:40 pm.

Earlier, the fire broke out on the seventh floor of the 20-storey building.

On information, Four firefighting units rushed to the spot and began working to douse the blaze.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.

However, no causalities were reported so far.
