Two-day law conference held at CU

A two-day national law conference has been held on Chattogram University (CU) campus with the theme "Law in a Changing World".

A total of 70 researchers from 50 universities presented their research papers at the conference held at the Law faculty auditorium in the university on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, 30 eminent lawyers were present as panel speakers.

Justice Borhanuddin, Judge of the Appellate Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court, was present as the chief guest on the opening day of the conference chaired by CU Law faculty dean Professor Dr. Abdullah Al Faruque.

University Grants Commission (UGC) member Professor Dr. Biswajit Chanda and CU vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Shireen Akhtar joined the programme as the special guest while Supreme Court lawyer Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan presented the keynote. The programme was moderated by CU Law department Professor Dr. Rakiba Nabi.
