EX-BGB DG promoted

Former Director General (DG) of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Maj Gen Aziz Ahmed has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General.

He has also been appointed as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Bangladesh Army Training and Doctrinal Command, said Public Relations Officer (PRO) of BGB headquarters Mohsin Reza.

Earlier on Wednesday, the government appointed Major General Abul Hossain as the chief of BGB replacing Aziz Ahmed.
