Dr Meerjady Flora made Director of NIPSOM

Professor Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, Additional Director General (Planning and Development) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has been appointed as the Director of National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM).

Md Alamgir Kabir, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Health Service Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, stated in a circular on Tuesday (January  31, 2023).

The circular states that BCS (Health) Cadre/Health Services official  Professor Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora has been appointed as the Director of NIPSOM until further notice.

Dr Flora will replace NIPSOM's former director Professor Dr Bayezid Khurshid Reaz.
