PSB chairman sued for remark on Hasina in Magura

Magura: Mihir Kanti Majumdar, chairman of Palli Sanchoy Bank (PSB), has been sued on Monday for his recent derogatory, abusive and outrageous remark on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Makbul Hossain Jibon, Magura District Unit President of Bangabandhu Smriti Sangsad and Bangabandhu Smriti Pathagar, filed the petition case with the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Firoj Mamun around 11:45am.
 
The complainant in his petition demanded arrest warrant against Mihir Kanti Majumdar.

The plaintiff filed the petition under section of the penal code 500 and 506 (2) stating that Mihir Kanti made the offensive remarks during a recent conversation with Jasimuddin Sardar, the PSB's Field-Assistant of Hijla upazila branch in Barisal.

The plaintiff in his case further said Mihir’s impudent remark hurt him severely.

Senior Judicial Magistrate asked the OC of Magura Sadar Police Station to take legal step in this regard after proper investigation.
