A seven-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Nageshwari upazila in
Kurigram district on Wednesday afternoon.
Deceased Raivee was the son of Late Liton Miah of T&T Para area under the upazila.
Family members said Raivee drowned in a pond adjacent to the house while taking bath.
After searching, they found the body in the water and recovered it.
Nageshwari Police Station officer in-charge (investigation) Palash Chandra Mandal confirmed the matter.
