Edward College principal sued for corruption

The Anti- Corruption Commission ( ACC)  has filed a case against Principal of Government Edward College, Pabna Humayun Kabir Mazumder on charge of corruption, reports UNB.

Deputy assistant director of  the commission’s Integrated District Office in Pabna Mostafizur Rahman filed the  case against Humayun Kabir Majumder, said  ACC deputy director Muhammad Arif Sadeq on Wednesday.

According to the details of the case,  he withdrew  around Tk 57 crore using   fake documents from Agrani Bank,  College Gate Branch in Pabna.

He approved the withdrawal of the money from the fund of student’s council, development, admission activities and embezzled the money.
