The government has appointed Professor Dr Mahmud Hossain as the vice-chancellor of Khulna University (KU).

He is the professor of Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline of the university.

Dr Hossain has been appointed for a four-year term, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Education on Monday.
