Filming of Chanchal Chowdhury and debutant Nabila starrer Aynabaazi finished in August last year. But the release date has been rescheduled a couple of times. Lastly this first movie by renowned director Amitav Reza was slated to be released on August 19.
However due to the recent deteriorating flood conditions have urged the producers to delay the release out of humanitarian concerns. The movie will be released after Eid-ul-Adha. But the date has been fixed as yet. The film acquired its censor-clearance in April. So there is no other problem for further delaying the release. The movie stars are already afoot with the task of film promotion.
Apart from celebrated actors Chanchal Chowdhury and debutant Masuma Rahman Nabila, Partha Barua is also expected to appear in leading roles in the movie. Lutfur Rahman George, Hira Chowdhury, Shawkat Osman and Gausul Alam Shawon have also acted in the movie. The songs of the movie heralds contribution from musical icons Arnob, Chirkut, Habib Wahid, Fuad Al Muqtadir and more.
Aynaabazi is a psychological thriller encompassing the life of a prodigious actor. This actor Ayna (Chanchal) can blend into any role any personality using his natural talent. The film will also shed light on the stark realities of present day Dhaka city. Whereas it has been typical of modern movies and telefilms to show only the progressive side of Dhaka, most have shied away from depicting the darker side of it. Aynaabazi will try to reflect upon the true picture the city suffers from in modern times.
