DU VC mourns Mohitul Islam's death 

Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Thursday expressed deep condolence at the death of Banga bandhu's murder case plaintiff AFM Mohitul Islam.
In a message of condolence, he said, the nation would always remember Mohitul as a patriot for his significant contribution to the nation.
"He became close associate to the family of Father of the Nation while performing duty as the personal assistant of the then President Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and witnessed the 1975 carnage," the DU VC added.
He conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Mohitul died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital at around 3:00 PM here this afternoon at 63.
