AL candidates win Barguna, Patharghata municipal polls

Awami League mayoral candidates have won mayoral elections in Barguna and Patharghata municipalities on Saturday.

Barguna District Election Officer and Returning Officer Dilip Kumar Howlader said the Awami League nominated candidates Kamrul Ahsan Moharaz won the election to Barguna Municipality while Anwar Hossain Akand won the election to Patharghata Municipality.

The elections were held from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday.
