Militancy can destroy human being: Tarana Halim

State Minister for Posts and Tele Communications Tarana Halim said militancy and fundamentalism can destroy the human being.

"Bangladesh is now moving forward towards prosperity and development .. we don't want to see our country as a state like Afghanistan, we will resist any attempt to do that", the state minister said this yesterday at Delduar upazila.

She was speaking at a gathering after distributing reliefs among the flood and river erosion hit people at Gachkumulli and Barpakhia area under Elasin union.

President of Delduar Upazila Awami League Fazlul Haque presided over the gathering.
