The telefilm is based on a work by Tagore himself. The literary piece "Namanjur" has been adapted for screen version under the title "Omiya" by Nahid Ahmed Pial, who is also the director. The telefilm will be aired at 2.40pm. Jitu Ahsan, Nadiya, Maznun Mizan, Arman Parvez Murad have acted in it.
The telefilm is about Omiya who is taken to his paternal-cousin by her mother for shelter.
