Maj Gen Ayub Chowdhury appointed as DG of Immigration and Passports

Major General Mohammad Ayub Chowdhury has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Department of Immigration and Passports by the government.

Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday issued an order appointing the Army official as the Director General and assigning his job to the Security Services Division under Home Ministry.

On the other hand, present DG of the Department of Immigration and Passports Major General Shakil Ahmed has returned to the Army placing his job under the Armed Forces Division.
