JBL launches new branding at a corporate branch in city

Janata Bank Limited (JBL) launched new branding at its Nawab Abdul Gani Road Corporate Branch in the capital on Thursday.
The bank's Chairman Shaikh Md Wahid-uz-Zaman inaugurated the new branded branch as the chief guest, said a press release.
JBL Directors Md Mahabubur Rahman Hiron and Manik Chandra Dey, PDB Member (Admin) Lokman Hossain Mia and Chief Engineer Mustafizur Rahman, and the bank's Deputy Managing Directors Afroza Gul Nahar, Md Golam Faruque and Md Abdus Salam Azad were present in the inaugural ceremony as special guests.
Chaired by Janata Bank General Manager (Divisional Office, Dhaka north) Md Moshiur Rahman, the ceremony was attended, among others, its executives, officers and clients.

Farmers Bank's 8th board meeting held

Farmers Bank Limited (FBL) organised its 8th board meeting at the bank's head office in the city on Tuesday.
The bank's Chairman Dr Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir presided over the meeting, said a press release.
FBL Vice-chairman Dr Mohd. Athar Uddin, Audit Committee Chairman Md Mahabubul Haque Chisty (Babul Chisty), Risk Management Committee Chairman Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat and other directors attended the meeting.
Observer appointed by Bangladesh Bank (BB) ANM Abul Kashem, General Manager of the foreign exchange investment department of the BB was also present on the occasion.


Meridian Finance and Investment Limited
Election Commission Bangladesh (ECB) Director (Operations) Syed Mohammad Musa and Meridian Finance and Investment Limited (MFIL) Deputy Managing Director Irteza Ahmed Khan after signing an agreement in the city on Wednesday. Director General of EC Secretariat NID Wing Brigediar General Sultanuzzaman Md Saleh Uddin attended the signing ceremony along with other senior executives of both the organisations.

Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) Limited (RBL) organised an overseas pleasure trip for the winners of its 'Distributor Flying Club-2015' programme. The tour was held at Bali in Indonesia from July 17 to July 20, 2016. The tour members are seen at a photo session with RBL Regional Manager SM Abdul Karim during the tour.
