A man has been found positive for coronavirs after death in Lalmohan upazila of Bhola district.
The 50-year-old man, a resident of Hariganj village under Charbhuta union in the upazila, died at Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex on May 23. He was admitted to the hospital with fever and respiratory problems.
His samples were collected and sent to a corona lab in Dhaka. The test results came on Wednesday night after his death.
However, three doctor among several medical stuff of the health complex were asked to stay in isolation following the results.
The upazila health and family planning officer Dr Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, nine more people were infected with the virus in the district in last 24 hours, taking the number to 33.
Of the newly infected person, a medical staff among two are residents of Borhanuddin upazila while five in Sadar upazila and two others from Lalmohan upazila.
The district civil surgeon Ratan Kumer Dhali confirmed the matter.
The infected persons were kept in isolation and their houses were put under lockdown, Dr Ratan said.
