Javed Patwary new ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwari has been appointed as Bangladesh  ambassador to Saudi Arabia. He will replace the current ambassador, Ghulam Masih.

Dr Javed Patwari is going on retirement on April 15. He has been appointed ambassador to Saudi Arabia for the next three years.

Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular in this regard on Monday.

Dr Javed Patwari is the 27th IGP of Bangladesh. He has previously served as additional inspector general of the Special Branch of Police (SB).

Dr. Javed Patwari, BPM (Bar) was born in a well-respected Muslim family in Mandari village of Sadar upazila of Chandpur district. He joined the Bangladesh Police Service in the 6th BCS (1), taking first place in the merit list in the police cadre.
