Traditional bullfight held at Sultan Mela

NARAIL, Jan 26: A traditional bullfight centring Sultan Mela was held in the town on Saturday.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Mahbubur Rashid and Police Super Mohammad Jasim Uddin, PPM, BAR, inaugurated the programme on Kurir Dop Field of Narail Government Victoria College at noon.
Thousands of people from different areas including Narail, Gopalganj, Khulna, Magura and Jashore crowded the fair. Over 50 bulls took part in the fight.
This traditional bull-fight is organised here every year. With increasing number of bulls, this traditional sport is becoming popular day by day.
