Purnima continues to reign over the small screen

National Award winning actress Purnima will be seen tonight at 7.50pm in Channel i's Eid special drama "Bhimroti Birambana." The drama also stars Mir Sabbir and has been directed by Imraul Rafat. This will mark Purnima's second string of TV appearance in her career. Last year she debuted in the small screen after having left laudable marks in the big screen for a long time. This year she has appeared again in a number of special Eid programmes. The comedy drama "Bhimroti Birambana" sees a distressed husband (Mir Sabbir) struggling desperately to break free from the suspicious eyes of his wife. Though they married after falling in love during college days, the wife Ria's objections at every wayward adventures of the husband and his difficulties at job has forced him to consider divorce. However things get tricky when he starts trying to force the divorce out of his wife.
Apart from the drama, today Purnima will also be seen in magazine programme "Celebrity Lounge" due to be aired at 8pm on Asian TV. She will be joining in with TV drama actors Tarin and Emon. Apart from this she is currently seen in Mahfooz Ahmed produced seven-part drama serial "Love and Co." The drama is ongoing for the first seven days of Eid regularly at 6.55pm on NTV. She was also seen on July 9 on BanglaVision in a drama directed by film actor Ferdous Ahmed named "Mannequin." On July 8 she appeared in Hanif Sanket's Eid special Ityadi along with Ferdous. On the other hand a telefilm in which she has acted with singer Hridoy Khan though was scheduled to be aired this Eid will be aired during the next Eid. The telefilm "Fire Jawa Holo Naa" directed by SA Haque Alik was due to be aired on BanglaVision.
Meanwhile today also marks the birthday of Purnima, which she plans to celebrate peacefully with her family away from all kinds of hassle of media and glamour world.
