Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd finished up the clubs player registration for the season 2019-20 of Bangladesh Premier League on Monday. The club situated at Dhanmondi Road-8 adjoined the Dhanmondi Play Ground registered 30 played for the season.
According to the decision of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), each club is allowed to register five foreign players, including one in Asian quota, this season. A club will be able to play four of its foreigners in a match.
The Jamal boys put most importance on striking department as they recruited five foreign strikers. The foreign strikers are Solomon King Kanform, Yusuke Kato, Famoussa Ballo, Osagie Monday and Pa Omar Jobe. Besides, they got local strikers like M Nurul Absar, Torikul Islam Julfiker and Jabed Khan as well.
The Dhanmondi based club is putting SM Samiul Islam Masum, Mamun Khan, M Ziaur Rahman Zia and M Kamal Hossain Titu before its goal bar.
The defenders are M Mozammel Hossain Nira, M Alauddin, M Rafiqur Rahman Mamun, Shamol Miah, MM Istekharul Alam Shakil, M Shakil Ahamed, M Monsur Amin, Kesto Kumar Bosh, Rezaul Karim, Monir Hossain and Ariful Islam.
On the other hand, the players who will take charge of the midfield of the club are Omar Faruk Babu, Fazlay Rabbi, Imtiaz Sultan Jitu, Mazharul Islam Sourav, M Faisal Ahmed, Didarul Alam and Jahid Hossain.
In the meantime, Saif SC and Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society completed their player registration on Sunday.
Among the remaining clubs, Bashundhara Kings, Mohammedan SC, Uttar Baridhara Club, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra and Police Athletics Club will come to the BFF House to finish their player registration today (Tuesday).
The players' registration window opened on October 1 and is likely to close on 20 November.
