Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football held in Naogaon

Shoilgasi Union of Naogaon Sadar upazila won the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman U-17 Football Tournament after beating Kirtipur union 2-0 in the final on Friday at Naogaon stadium.

Sadar upazila administration in association with Youth and Sports Ministry arranged the tournament where 12 teams in the upazila joined.

Prize distribution programme was held with Sadar upazila parishad chairman Rafiqul Islam Rafiq in the chair.

Naogaon Local Government Division Deputy Director Golam Mohamad Shahnewaj was present in the programme as the chief guest.

District Football Association President Mamunur Rashid, district sports officer Abu Zafar Mamunuzzaman, president of district Chhatra League Sabbir Hossain and general secretary of district Jubo League Biman Kumar Roy, among others, were present in the programme.
